Please, try to use explanatory expressions and try ask clear questions when you are performing the search as much as possible. For example; such as, “What are the payment terms?” or “Can we buy tickets by instalments?”

After your oder with Ticketmaster, you can check on your Ticketmaster account to see if the order has been successfully processed. Under „My Tickets“ you can find an overview of your orders, where your detailed order should show up after max. 60 minutes. You will also receive an email order confirmation.
 
Please also check your spam folder if the confirmation shouldn't be there within 60 minutes. If you can't find the order on your account and haven't received an email confirmation, please contact customer service under +49 (0)30 – 40 818 824 (local rate)*.
 
Please do note again that it can take up to 60 minutes for the confirmation to be sent to your email.

As soon as your order has been received, an automated processes makessure that your tickets are first blocked for you, and then as printed. An order is therefore in its own closed cycle and can not be changed for security reasons. As soon as a ticket is printed, it is considered as sold to the specific customer. Therefore we can't accept any cancellations, changes, or additional wishes for tickets. Ticket orders fall under the distance selling law. § 312 b paragraph 3 No. 6 of the German Civil law rules, that the law on contracts for completion of services in the area of recriational activites, which includes concerts, doesn't apply.

Therefore the orders are freed from the two week cancellation and return policy. If you should not be able to attend the event, you can sell the tickets on the Ticketmaster Resale Website. Please note, that the according proof (e.g student ID, senior citizen card, etc.) needs to be shown at the entrance unsolicited. Without the proper proof in combination with the ticket, access to the event can be denied. The event promoter can take legal measures if they suspect purposeful misuse.

Our interactive seat map is designed, so that no seat in a row can be left empty. We can understand that it can get very frustrating when not many tickets are left available for an event. But the sale of these single seats is very unlikely, since most customers don't want to sit on their own. "Currently no tickets available" means, that the tickets we had available have been sold out. We make an effort to get more seats allocated, so please do check our website regularly. This message also shows up when there are absolutely no seats left available. Since we can't rule out whether regional presale locations still have tickets, we don't call the category or the whole event as "sold out".

Ticketmaster has websites world wide, which are easy to use and designed customer friendly. Every step is generally self-explanatory. Furthermore there are simple instructions for each step, in order to make the booking process as easy as possible for you. You will either find interesting events on the home page or on the categories page. Or just use the search function to find events quickly. Chose the event and click the according "Tickets" button. From there on just follow the other instructions.

We want to give each customer the chance to buy tickets. In order to avoid seats being blocked for a long period of time, we have set up a 10 minute timer per order. You can see the remaining time throughout the booking process on the right hand side of the screen. 

If the time runs out, the system automatically chooses the next best places. You will be informed about this. Your seats will be shown to you again in detail at the order overview in the last step of the booking process. We advise to check the exact seats before finishing the order. There is no way to change your seats after booking them.

You might notice when you check the order overview at the end that there are other seats than you originally chose. This can have different reasons.
  1. You chose tickets in a price category that is no longer available. For example, if you wanted tickets in the 1st price category, but there weren't any tickets available of that class at that point, the system will automatically choose the next free category, e.g. category 2. You received a notification about this, and probably just missed it in the hurry of ordering the tickets.
  2. You refreshed your browser window while booking or used the back button in your browser. If you refresh your browser while ordering, the system automatically chooses the next available seats for you. Please avoid using the for or back functions of your browser. Simply use the "next" button in the order window.
  3. You have exceeded the reservation time. If you need more than 10 minutes for purchasing your tickets, the system automatically releases your tickets and selects new tickets for you.

Ticket limits are set up to make sure that every one can buy tickets fairly. This ensures that the first people at a sale don't buy all of the tickets at once and don't leave anything for those coming after them. At very popular events the event promoters will often set a limit on the amount of tickets each person can buy. Ticket limits can either count per order, person, or household. You will definitely be notified about the limit and any special rules regarding them before you make your purchase. We reserve the right to cancel orders, which go over the ticket limit set by the event promoters.

We can only offer booking through our interactive seat map at events with numbered seats. In that case, you can easily choose your seats yourself. The seat map can sometimes be temporarily or permanently limited if there are many people booking or if the event promoters wish it so. If there is no seat map, please use the best seats booking option.

At a presale, tickets are offered to a specific group of customers before the general ticket sales start. Often the presales are offered to fanclub members, to people who have previously purchased tickets, or to customers of large companies, e.g. American Express.

Everyone who is eligible to participate in this presale usually receives an Email with a password or an access link. This link is usually set up by fanclubs or the event promoters, which is why we don't have access to the passwords or links. Any questions relating to this (e.g. password not working) need to be directed to the people who set up the link. We usually can't give out passwords again or resend links.

If you are interested in the presale of a specific artist we advise to keep an eye on their website and social media. You can also get information on presales on our Ticketmaster Facebook pageand from ourTwitter account. Please note that the number of tickets available at each presale is usually very small. Having access to a presale doesn't guarantee that you will be able to get any.

The number of tickets that we have for a presale is usually very limited. Therefore we don't always have tickets from every price group or the best seats available. The advantage of a presale is to be able to purchase tickets for an event before many other can. Especially for very popular events this increases your chances of getting tickets, since less people have access to those tickets than in the actual ticket sale. This doesn't mean that the best seats will be available during the presale. Please note, that we can't accept any trade requests for better seats during the official ticket sale. Therefore make sure that you are happy with the seats before finishing your ticket order.

We sell tickets for many events that have a high demand for tickets. Getting tickets for these events isn't just luck. There are several tips which can increase your chances for popular events.
  1. Create a Ticketmaster Account before the ticket sale starts! This will save you time from registering and entering your address and will save you from typos in your name or address while booking.
  2. Double check the information on your Ticketmaster Account! Do you still remember your password? Is your address still up to date? You should clear such questions before the ticket sale starts.
  3. Don't log in on several browsers. Ulitmately it will not increase your chances to get tickets, if you are logged in on your account on several browsers. This can actually lead to you loosing your tickets that are on hold since our system only allows one order at a time.
  4. Choose in advance what kind of tickets you want. It's often useful to choose before the ticket sale starts whether you would like to sit or stand at the event. Furthermore we sell VIP Packages at many events, rather than just normal tickets. If the ticket categories are made public before the ticket sale starts, you can definitely find them on our website or on our Facebook or Twitter accounts.
  5. Open the event page when the ticket sale starts. There is no waiting list for opening the page in advance. Furthermore it can hapen, that even though you click refresh, your browser doesn't show the updated page correctly. If you have visited the event page, you should make sure to delete all cookies from your browser cache to avoid any potential issues refreshing the page. Then go on to the event page at the actual beginning of the sale to get into the waiting list correctly.
  6. Don't refresh the page in the waiting list! If there are many people on our page, we start a waiting list. If you refresh your page, you will lose your spot and will be put last in line again.
  7. Stay infromed! Inform yourself on the start of the ticket sale on our website, on Facebook, on Twitter, and our Newsletter. For some events we offer our Ticketfirst-Newsletter service and will remind you about when the ticket sale starts via email.
If you follow these tips, you will increase your chances to get coveted tickets for events. We're crossing our fingers for you!

For many events there is an option to get reduced tickets for certain groups. Whether there is a discount and how much it is, is solely dependent on the promoter. Please understand that we have absolutely no influence on the decision. If there are any discounts for certain events, one can see them after choosing seats. After choosing your seats, simply mark the appropriate price category. Please note that we can't trade tickets that have been ordered already at the normal price to the reduced price. Generally one needs to show proof of discount (e.g. student ID, handicapped pass, etc.) at the entrance. For this reason, please make sure you meet all of the requirements.

At some events tickets are personalized in advance. There are different types of personalization.
  1. Buyer Personalization: In this case all of the tickets in the order are made out to the person who bought them. Usually this person has to show their ID at the entrance. If the person who bought the tickets will not attend the event, it is sometimes possible to give one of the attendees a PoA. In this case you should definitely consult our customer service before assuming it will work. Specific information about the personalization and the conditions can be found in the event information and in the order confirmation.
  2. Single person personalization: At some events each tickets needs to be registered with a specific person in advance. This either happens during the order process, or on a website from the promoters. Transferring tickets to other people is possible at some events, please check the event information.

At many events one can also purchase VIP Packages. The commodities offered by VIP packages can vary vastly. Often, VIP offers will contain things like early admittance or a meet & greet with the artist. In most cases the VIP offer will include a concert ticket. If this is not the case, you will be notified of this during your purchase. Whether the VIP tickets are sent to you in advance depends on the event. In every case the merchandise included in the package will be distributed at the venue. If not picked up, there usually isn't an option to have it sent by mail. All the important information about the VIP package will be emailed to you 3-7 days before the event.

Ticketmaster GmbH is not organizing any of these events, but is contracted by the event promoters to sell tickets. The event promoters generally don't accept any return or trade requests. You are clearly informed about the liability of the tickets while ordering them.

Please note, that simple ticket orders are exempt from the distance selling law. This is because sports, leisure, and cultural events can't be organized logistically and financially with a two week return period. The legislation sees this the same way, which is why the law doesn't apply when you create a contract with the event promoters for the completion of a service in the area of recreational activities (§ 312 b par. 3 No.6 German Civil law).

Yes! For international deliveries we have set up the following delivery options:

  • „Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg“ (DHL Express)

This enables us to send your tickets to you as fast and safe as possible. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days. You will receive a shipment confirmation email from our shipment partners as soon as the tickets have been printed and received.
